Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health in Stratford, NJ is seeking a professional nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop care plans with patients and designated care partners, coordinate with inter-professional teams, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualified candidates will have a Specialized Diploma or BSN preferred within 3 years, and active RN licensure in PA or NJ.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree BSN strongly preferred within 3 years of hire.
• Current RN license in PA or NJ.

Responsibilities

• Develops nursing plans of care with patient and designated care partner(s).
• Interacts with patients, families and staff per Jefferson values.
• Uses evidence-based practice and data to improve safety and quality.
• Participates in hospital and practice setting committees on safety and quality.
• Delivers patient education and meaningful discharge planning.
