Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop care plans with patients and designated care partners, aligning with cultural beliefs and values in a high-volume hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient education, collaboration with an inter-professional team, documentation, and participation in safety and quality initiatives. BLS certification and NJ RN license are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Ability to convey respect and collaborate with patients and families.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and coding.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with nursing in acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and priorities.
