Job summary

Apploi is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant in San Diego to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will document treatment and assist with scheduling, while contributing to the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

The role requires knowledge of physical therapy techniques, prosthetic devices, and strong communication skills, with a focus on geriatric and neurological rehab as applicable. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
• Current PTA registration and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physical therapist.
• Complete documentation according to established procedures.
• Assist therapists with scheduling and appointments for patient services.
• Contribute to professional development and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and effective discharge planning input.
