UC San Diego is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide orthopedic outpatient treatments under a supervising physical therapist. You will implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques per care protocols, and document patient progress for the care team.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to work in a collaborative environment, and willingness to support clinic operations and inventory.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
• BART or BLS certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to treat patients and follow an established plan of care.

Responsabilités

• Provide orthopedic treatments and therapeutic exercises under supervision of a physical therapist.
• Document patient progress and communicate findings to the primary therapist.
• Assist with inventory control, clinic maintenance, and organization; collaborate across care continuum.
