Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in our San Diego facility.

You will document treatment, assist with scheduling, participate in interdisciplinary team conferences, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes through instruction and hands-on therapy, while maintaining professional standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in PTA degree required.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience with adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
• Current CPR certification and state PTA licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Complete documentation according to procedures and billing data.
• Assist therapists with scheduling and patient services.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team conferences and care planning.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home programs.
• Maintain safety and professional standards in all interactions.
