Job summary

The Physical Therapist at Willard Hospital within Bon Secours Mercy Health provides initial and ongoing assessments and therapeutic interventions for patients across in- and outpatients, pediatrics and off-site locations, as part of the continuum of care.

You will evaluate patients, develop goals, deliver daily therapy, document progress in the EMR, supervise therapy assistants, and maintain productivity while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred or required within 30 days for certain facilities.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathers information, and develops goals and a treatment plan.
• Provides direct therapy daily following the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Maintains records of treatment and patient progress in the EMR with timely co-signatures for PTAs.
• Maintains productivity while ensuring quality care and compliance with safety and infection control.
• Supervises the physical therapist assistant’s interventions and professional growth.
