Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Southside Medical Center team in Virginia. The role includes initial/ongoing assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions across care settings.

The incumbent will document progress in the EMR, maintain appropriate productivity, supervise PTAs, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective care. Strong communication and clinical reasoning are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice (required)
• BLS certification (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, develops an appropriate treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following plan of care and standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records in EMR and co-signs for supervised PTAs where applicable.
• Maintains productivity while delivering quality care and meeting department standards.
• Supervises PTA interventions and professional growth.
