Upperline Health, Inc. is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a value-based practice. The MA will room patients, take histories, document vitals and assist providers to ensure smooth clinic operations.

This on-site role in Gainesville, GA emphasizes care coordination, outreach, and collaboration with nurses, care managers, and social services to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified MA or minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical primary care setting.
• Experience in a primary care/outpatient clinic setting is strongly preferred.
• Certified MA or phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Assist NP with health assessments and in clinic visits with Upperline Plus patients being seen in our clinics.
• Facilitate and support virtual provider encounters from the clinic setting.
• Accurately document clinical information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Perform medication reconciliation at each patient encounter and manage medication lists.
