Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training program certificate or 5 years of MA experience with CMA/RMA certification
• BLS certification preferred; required
• Six months outpatient MA experience preferred
• Bilingual English with Spanish or Chinese advantageous

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and record vital signs
• Prepare exam rooms for examinations
• Perform basic phlebotomy and CLIA-waived tests
• Assist providers by handing instruments and supplies
• Operate EKG and routine diagnostic equipment
• Document data and manage patient records
• Coordinate care with specialists and maintain communications with patients
