Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines following safety protocols.
• Handles referrals, scheduling, insurance authorizations, and messages.
• Cross-trained for duties relevant to clinic practice.
• Demonstrates effective communication and escalation when needed.
• Maintains clean work environment and properly stocked areas.
• Provides age-appropriate care and uses clinical standards.
