Job summary

Advocate Health Oshkosh Public Safety is seeking a full-time Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes 40 hours per week with varying shifts and a pay range of $21.85–$32.80 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to emergencies, de-escalation, and collaboration with local authorities. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1 year of related experience preferred. Training on safety, CPR and CEW use is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide security services with a customer-service approach.
• Maintain a professional appearance and enforce safety rules.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents with appropriate de-escalation.
• Assist patients, visitors, and teammates with information and directions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders as needed.
• Document incidents accurately and timely.
