Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect patients, staff, and visitors at the Sheboygan County Public Safety site. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional conduct and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, incident reporting, and collaboration with local law enforcement as needed. Requires CHSO certification, IL/FIDO considerations, and CPR/First Aid readiness, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in security/public safety/customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services professionally and maintain appearance and equipment.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify hazards, monitor visitors, and assist with directions.
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts; document incidents clearly and timely.
