Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI, is looking for a Patient Care Transporter to join our Patient Transport team.

The Patient Care Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to and from ancillary departments and discharges at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Aspirus Cancer Center, and Aspirus Clinics.

Hours: 0.4 FTE, 32 hours every 2 weeks. Day shifts only.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions, demonstrating knowledge of customer relations and patient care.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous relevant experience is beneficial.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire. All clinical personnel are required to maintain BLS training through independent study, online manikin, and knowledge testing, using courses from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Complete and maintain respirator fit testing requirements.
