Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician for day-shift, full-time nursing support. Responsibilities include assisting with patient changing, transporting patients, and reporting abnormal findings to nurses.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is required or provided.
• One year of clinical experience is required or completion of intern program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with changing and dressing.
• Transport patients by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair.
• Identify abnormal findings (vital signs, labs, EKG, CXR) and report to nursing staff.
• Escort patients to holding rooms and orient patients and families to environment.
• Obtain vital signs and verify patient information.
