Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with changing/dressing.
• Transport patients by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair.
• Identify abnormal findings affecting outcomes (vital signs, Accucheck, lab, EKG, CXR).
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Escort patients to holding rooms.
• Assist with patient belongings (jewelry, dentures, contacts).
• Verify patient information.
• Orient patients and families to the environment.
• Obtain vital signs.
