Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant or related experience preferred.
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation HeartSaver CPR upon hire required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association upon hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Reports pertinent observations to the RN.
• Takes patient’s vital signs (temp, pulse, resp, BP) and monitors I&O.
• Assists with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and positioning; helps with bed baths and showers.
• Assists with meals, hydration, and nutrition; supports patient comfort.
• Obtains routine specimens and assists with basic treatments as directed by RN.
• Performs CPR and aids in patient safety; assists with post-mortem care if needed.
