Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Tech to perform basic patient care activities under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, glucose checks, and recording intake and output.

The role also involves assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a clean, organized patient environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and CNA/CMA/EMT or nursing student status with clinicals completed, along with BLS.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA, CMA, EMT certification, or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic nursing care activities under RN supervision, including vitals and glucose measurements.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff and notes changes promptly.
