Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, and intake/output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Prioritize unit workflow with RN/manager as needed.
• Serve as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answer calls, intercom, and lights with proper etiquette, relay information to staff/family/patient.
• Support census and daily admission/discharge lists as needed.
