Qualifikationen

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, mobility, comfort).
• Report and record patient care findings promptly.
• Monitor patient condition and escalate as needed.
• Assist with telemetry and act as patient care attendant as required.
• Transport medications to RN within the unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team for optimal care.
• Possible duties of health unit coordinator (phones, orders, unit records, supplies).
• Execute plan of care as delegated and within scope of practice.
• Perform specialized procedures with proper validation and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety policies and emergency actions.
