Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician at Intermountain Health Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. You will support the patient care team with basic nursing tasks under supervision, helping with hygiene, mobility, and comfort while maintaining patient safety.

This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, rotating 12-hour shifts, with orientation of about two months. Requirements include active CNA certification and BLS, strong communication, and computer literacy

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care and respond to patient and family requests.
• Report and record patient care findings in a timely manner.
• Monitor patients and collaborate with the care team to address needs.
• Transport medications to the RN when on a clinical unit.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator duties as needed.
• Foster a safe environment and follow emergency procedures.
