Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, and comfort measures.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
• Provides excellent customer service when responding to patient and family requests.
• Reports and records patient care findings and data in a timely manner and escalates changes in patient condition.
• May perform telemetry duties on some units and acts as unit receptionist or clerical support as needed.
