Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff with routine patient care on day shifts in Baltimore, MD. Under nurse supervision, you will perform delegated tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, transporting patients, monitoring vital signs, and reporting abnormal findings to nurses. Requires CNA and BLS certifications and at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualificações

• CNA certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of clinical experience or completion of an intern program.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with changing/dressing.
• Transport patients by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair.
• Identify and report abnormal vital signs, EKG, lab, or imaging results to nursing staff.
• Escort patients to holding rooms and orient them to the environment.
• Verify patient information and assist with personal belongings.
