Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide individualized patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting in Arizona. You will assist with basic tasks, participate in shift and bedside reports, and support regional and unit initiatives, while upholding patient rights and infection control best practices.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, or CNA/PCA/PCT certification, CPR, and EKG training on selected units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or CNA/PCA/PCT certificate.
• CPR certification is required.
• EKG training in selected units.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized, culture-specific patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists the nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills.
• Participates in shift and bedside reports and supports unit initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of patient rights, aseptic technique and infection control best practices.
