Job summary

Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist in patient care, documentation, and supply management on-site in Arizona. The PCT collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support infants to geriatrics and may function in an office assistant role as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a current AZ CNA or LNA license, plus BLS and fingerprint clearance. Strong computer skills and a patient‑safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification & Licensures: Current, unrestricted CNA or LNA license in Arizona required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Fingerprint Clearance: required if not already licensed; obtain and maintain.
• Experience: ability to use computers and basic software in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient care under supervision of nurse/manager/dir.
• Keeps unit clean, prepares supplies, and documents care in EMR.
• Aids with transfers, mobility, and ADLs under clinician direction.
• Responds to calls, answers questions, and supports clinical staff.
• Assists in Discharge processes and continuation of care.
