Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Inpatient General Pulmonary Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts, 7am–7:30pm, with every 3rd weekend rotation.

Under RN supervision, you will perform patient care tasks to support comfort and safety. Candidates should have CNA training or 6 months of patient care experience, CPR certification, and the ability to follow directions.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum 6 months of patient care experience or equivalent.
• Completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by department.
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks under the direction of an RN to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assist in basic procedures and care activities as trained and according to established procedures.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with the care team.
