Job summary

The successful candidate

This is a Nightshift position with the hours of 7pm-730am.

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for activities of daily living, certain tests and procedures, environmental duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Organizes and manages the activity at the nursing desk to support the nursing process and provision of care to the patient.
• Ensures accurate and timely order entry and the proper notification and coordination of the multidisciplinary team.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months prior experience as a Nurse Aide/Monitor Tech in a health care environment, a second‑year nursing student, or six months prior experience in a medical setting.
• PCT certification or CNA license desirable.
• Current BLS and CPR required.
• Training as a Unit Secretary in a hospital or equivalent setting preferred.
