Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician Apprentice to join our hospital teams in New Jersey. The role starts with foundational training and, upon successful completion of the HMH PCT Apprenticeship Program, transitions into a Patient Care Technician role.

You will learn quickly, work with a strong care-team, and focus on delivering high-quality patient-centered service while advancing your clinical skills and accountability in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of the programs: Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician, or Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school; or HMH PCT Apprenticeship; or equivalent medical background experience.
• If selected, candidate enters the HMH PCT Apprentice Program and, upon successful completion, transfers to the Patient Care Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Progress from PCT Apprentice to full Patient Care Technician after program completion.
