Responsibilities

• Travel up to 25%
• Take patient histories and vital signs
• Perform tests such as vision, audio, urine drug screens, breath alcohol, EKGs, pulmonary tests
• Collect laboratory samples via phlebotomy
• Complete paperwork and computer entries for lab tests
• Perform point-of-care tests like strep, mono, glucose, influenza, pregnancy, urinalysis
• Maintain sterile techniques and sterilize equipment
• Coordinate patient records and assist providers with exams and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Ensure equipment functionality
• Log procedures and process paperwork
• Maintain examination rooms and supplies
• Support patient flow and registration duties
• Explain insurance and pricing to patients, collect payments
• Assist with documentation, reports, and front desk duties

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Follow written instructions and work standards
• Establish effective relationships with staff and patients
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and transfer patients and equipment
• Proficient computer skills, including EMR
• CPR certification and up-to-date injections documentation
• Excellent listening, note-taking, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and team player
• Friendly, customer-service oriented, capable of handling high call volumes
• Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds
