Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff in daily patient care activities at our Salem-area facility. You will help with bathing, feeding, vital signs, and basic procedures while ensuring accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

The role requires strong patient service skills, basic medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS, Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant credentials preferred.
• 0-1 year experience in patient care preferred.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living under licensed personnel.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and glucose in the EHR.
• Assist with feeding, positioning, and comfort measures.
• Ensure rooms are stocked, cleaned and ready for use.
• Support patient admissions and discharges as directed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other care team members.
