Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support licensed personnel in delivering essential care at our 75 Francis Street location in Boston, MA. Qualifications

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Take vitals (temp, BP, pulse, respiration) and document in medical records.
• Communicate health concerns to nurses.
• Lift up to 35 pounds and assist patient movement as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interact with patients and families effectively.
• Help with basic hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with turning and repositioning in bed and with wheelchair transfer.
• Listen to health concerns and report to nursing staff.
