Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Patient Care Technician-PCT to assist in individualized patient care under RN/LPN supervision. This part-time role supports a Rehabilitation unit and may advance along the UAP ladder based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: None required; may be considered for PCA role with 175-hour training within 90 days.
• Preferred experience: EMT, Paramedic or prior patient care exposure (PCA/CNA/active nursing student).
• BLS certification required within one month of hire; PCT competencies within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN/LPN direction; work in a team to support patient wellness.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical care tasks essential to patient care.
