Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team in the Progressive Care Unit. The role includes direct patient care, ADL assistance, vital signs, and documentation to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA certification, have a High School Diploma or GED, and are available for day shift from 7:00a to 7:00p, with weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care under nurse supervision.
• Administers or assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Performs vital signs, intake/output, and other basic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under nurse supervision.
• Collects vital information and reports changes to the nursing team.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education and documents care.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available to meet patient needs.
• Promotes patient safety and quality through participation in regulatory compliance.
