Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit on a part-time schedule. The role supports Registered Nurses by performing routine patient care tasks to ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will work 7:00am–7:30pm shifts with every third weekend and holiday on track; CPR certification and CNA-like training or equivalent required; the pay ranges from $18.84 to $27.32 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course.
• Minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent.
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks and procedures under RN supervision to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assists with daily living activities and monitor patient conditions as directed.
