Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nurses in delivering patient-centered care. The PCT will assist with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe environment under supervision.

You will work with a care team to ensure accurate documentation, infection control, and adherence to safety protocols. CNAs or CPCTs are preferred, with BCLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in acute care preferred.
• Enrollment in a nursing program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services.
• Record and report vital signs and other patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and use PPE appropriately.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team.
