Job summary

East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. Under RN/LPN supervision, you assist with activities of daily living and help maintain a safe, organized unit.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with mobility and daily tasks, documenting observations, and communicating patient information clearly to the care team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in acute care setting or current Nursing student preferred.
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services.
• Collect and record vital signs and other patient data.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe care environment and proper PPE use.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team.
