Job summary

1100 Endeavor Health Clinical Operations in Evanston is seeking a part-time CNA to assist with patient care under RN supervision. You will take vital signs, perform 12-lead EKGs, catheter care, and assist with daily activities and discharge prep.

Qualifications include CNA training or nursing rotation, and current BLS certification. The role includes premium pay factors and benefit opportunities in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S., CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Aid RN in patient care including vital signs, EKG, bladder ultrasound, and IV procedures.
• Assist with patient bathing, turning, feeding, and discharge preparation.
• Support care plan implementation and promote patient safety and experience.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Location: Evanston Hospital

Full Time/Part Time: Part time-24 hr/wk

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, rotating weekends

Required Travel: no

What you will do:

Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care Assist with Vital Signs (includes manual blood pressure), 12-Lead EKG, Bladder Ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan Participate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unit Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Eligible to work in the U.S., and completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (C.N.A.) training course preferred, or completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical preferred
• License: N/A
• Certification: Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider issued by either American Heart Association required.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service preferred and/or prior nursing assistant experience preferred
