Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit on the night shift (approximately 6pm–6am). The role involves assisting registered nurses with delegated patient-care tasks and supporting admissions, discharges, and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 90 days of hire; CNA/NCMA/NCPCT credentials or equivalent experience are preferred.

Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse.
