Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. You will assist with vital signs, ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement and other procedures as part of a broader care team.

The role includes supporting Unit Secretary, Patient Transport, and Environment of Care duties to maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant training with a competency evaluation is required.
• EMT training or Nursing 101 clinical rotation (or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the registered nurse.
• Measure vital signs, perform ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement, and capillary blood glucose testing.
• Support Unit Secretary, Patient Transport, and Environment of Care duties.

Education
