Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program Preferred.
• 1 year experience in a patient care role Preferred.
• Basic Life Support Required.
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
• Implements components of the plan of care based on physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Measures vital signs, performs ECGs, and capillary blood glucose checks.
• Observes and reports the functioning of equipment, results of treatments, and condition of dressings.
• Adheres to the Hospital's Customer Service Program and maintains confidentiality.
