Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. You will work under the supervision of a nurse to provide patient care, observe patient conditions, and support high-acuity patients in a 24-bed ICU.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire, with preference for prior health care experience.

Approximately 7pm to 7am **Department/Position Overview:**We are looking for a hospital experienced employee with compassion and great communication skills to work in this fast-paced environment with our most critical patients. Our 24 bed Intensive Care Unit has a variety of patients to include trauma, cardiac surgery, vascular, medical and surgical patients among other high acuity patients. Work alongside our experienced patient care technicians and RNs to perform intense patient care. Excellent customer service skills are needed to work closely with patients and their family members.
