Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• 6 months Experience in a healthcare related field or actively enrolled in a pre-nursing or nursing program and pursuing a nursing degree.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) American Heart Association Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with ambulating and mobilization of patients and records vital signs (BP, Temp, Pulse, Respirations, SpO2).
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of data collected and assists with transfer/discharge of patients.
• Receives calls and acts as department receptionist; manages supplies/inventory.
• Supports with bedside care, hygiene, meals, I&O, and basic patient needs.
• Uses computer systems to locate orders, retrieve patient information, and print census.
