Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering patient care. Under direct supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and help with basic procedures and documentation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, Maryland CNA certification, CPR, and at least 6 months of direct patient care experience. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Current CNA I or CNA II certification in Maryland.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety to assigned patients under direct nurse supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Record vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimen collection as directed.
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and medical supplies.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
