Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in a stable patient population. You will perform activities of daily living, vital signs, and documentation in the EMR while maintaining patient dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities include supporting admissions/discharges, participating in rounding, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents direct patient care and activities such as activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and promotes safety.
• Documents vitals, I&O, and treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers and supports unit activity.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
