Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support safe patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

We value compassion, teamwork, and adherence to Safety/Quality standards. Current BLS and a high school diploma are required, with on-the-job training for PCT competencies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• Excellent reading/writing/communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision including basic daily activities.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain patient safety.
• Assist with treatments/equipment setup and prepare supplies.
