Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide compassionate patient care and support across care teams. The role includes participating in interdisciplinary plans of care from admission to discharge and contributing to performance improvement initiatives.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and a PCT/CNA/MA program or apprenticeship, with preferred phlebotomy/EKG experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of one of the following: PCT/CNA/MA program or HMH PCT Apprenticeship; or equivalent medical background.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs; strong teamwork and accountability; commitment to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age and care needs.
• Ensure safe outcomes through sound judgment and continuous care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and care team.
