Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of PCT/CNA/MA program or HMH PCT Apprenticeship, or equivalent medical background.
• EMT, Home Health Aide, CMA, MA, PCT, Nursing Assistant background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with patient safety, comfort and satisfaction under RN direction.
• Communicate patient status and care needs to nursing staff.
• Engage in unit/department performance improvement activities.
• Participate in patient care planning from admission to discharge.
