Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician to document care per policy and assist patients with activities of daily living, transport, and communication with RNs.

The role requires certification and experience in CNA/EMT, BLS, and dysrhythmia readiness. This position supports TVH’s patient-centered and family-sensitive care model and works within a leading hospital system in California.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience working as a CNA or Paramedic preferred.
• Current Calif. CNA, EMT or Paramedic certificate required.
• BLS Certification (AHA and current) required.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification (BART) required.

Responsibilities

• Document all activities performed in accordance with established policy.
• Assist the patient with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, ambulating, etc.).
• Provide safe and timely transport of patients as assigned.
• Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and post strips on flow sheet.
