Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to document care per policy, observe diverse patient needs, and support nursing staff. You will handle calls, greet visitors, and relay messages to the care team in a fast-paced setting.

Required CA CNA certificate, BLS, and ability to work in a high-volume facility. Training opportunities and competitive compensation are offered by UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• CA CNA certificate or eligible status with active verification.
• Evidence of Nursing Fundamentals completion within the last 24 months and current RN program enrollment optional.
• BLS Certification (AHA current).
• CPI or NCI certification due within 120 days of hire and annual renewal thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Document all activities performed per established policy.
• Observe patient biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and sociocultural needs.
• Answer patient calls; greet, direct patients/visitors and relay messages to staff.
