Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Technician who, under the direction of the RN or LPN, assists in individualized care to achieve the patient’s highest level of wellness. You will work within a team, performing clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks essential to patient care.

Education required includes a high school diploma or GED; CNA/CPCT or enrollment in a healthcare program is preferred. BLS must be obtained within one month of hire, with CPCT competencies within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED. CNA/CPCT or enrolled in healthcare career program.
• Experience: None required.
• In the state of practice: 175-hour training program within 90 days of hire.
• Certifications: BLS required within one month of hire; CPCT competencies within 3 months of hire.
• Preferred experience: EMT, Paramedic or previous patient care experience.
