UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time day shifts. You will work under RN/LPN guidance to assist with basic patient care, record vitals, and help ensure patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role includes completing an in-house PCT training program, maintaining CPR certification within 30 days of employment, and contributing to a team that delivers safe, compassionate care to diverse patient populations.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification within thirty (30) days of date of employment required.

Mansioni

• Obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs.
• To assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN for the hospital.
• To successfully complete an in-house PCT training program.
• To demonstrate an awareness of patient and personal safety.
